Product Overview
The Zenmuse L2 is an industrial-grade aerial LiDAR system featuring an integrated frame LiDAR, a high-accuracy IMU, and a 4/3 CMOS RGB mapping camera. Designed for the Matrice 350 RTK it provides a 450m detection range and 5-hit return capability for elite 3D point cloud generation.
The DJI Zenmuse L2 represents the next generation of affordable high-precision aerial surveying and mapping. By consolidating a high-performance frame-based LiDAR sensor, a high-accuracy self-developed IMU, and a 4/3 CMOS RGB camera into a single gimbaled payload, the L2 simplifies the complex process of 3D data acquisition. Unlike the previous L1 the Zenmuse L2 features significantly improved detection ranges up to 450m at 50 percent reflectivity and a higher point rate of 240,000 points per second. This allows surveying teams to fly higher and faster while still achieving the 5cm vertical accuracy required for engineering-grade topographical maps. A major technical highlight is its ability to process 5 returns per pulse which is essential for penetrating dense vegetation and generating accurate Digital Terrain Models of the forest floor. The integrated 4/3 CMOS RGB camera allows for real-time point cloud colorization and can double as a high-resolution photogrammetry sensor. LVH Systems sources the Zenmuse L2 for land surveyors, power utility companies, and forestry managers providing specialized support for IMU calibration, base station coordination, and point-cloud density optimization. Available for sourcing through LVH Systems global procurement network.
